Belleville summary
Belleville (2006 population 48,821, metropolitan population 91,518) is a city located at the mouth of the Moira River on the Bay of Quinte in southeastern Ontario, Canada, in the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor. It is the seat of Hastings County.
Belleville has very nice industial parks, there are no voids from the previous employers leaving. New employers set up shop, the economy is great, there is no shortage of jobs for skilled workers. Bellevilles neighbour Trenton 15 km to the west, is home to Canada's largest airforce base, and the feds are investing $600 million dollars over the next 3 years on base infrastructure, which of course will have numerous spinoffs into the local economy.
